Beta software, provided as-is
Cover is offered free during the beta and is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Beta software can change, break, or be withdrawn, and features described today may differ later.
You review your output before sharing it
Cover is a tool that helps you redact PDFs. It does the bulk of the work and opens an editor after every run so you can check each page. You are responsible for reviewing the redacted output before you share it. Confirm that everything you intended to remove is gone. You keep responsibility for the documents you share.
License
During the beta you get a personal, non-transferable license to install and use Cover on your own Mac. Please don't resell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the app, or use it to break the law.
No warranty
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Cover is provided without warranty. We do not warrant that it will catch every piece of sensitive information, that it will be error-free, or that it will be available without interruption.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Cover, including any information that was shared because it was not removed. Your use of the app is at your own discretion and risk, and you are responsible for verifying your redacted documents.
Changes to these terms
We may update these beta terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. We will move the "last updated" date when they change.
